2011 Christmas Dinner

This annual event will be held this year on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the New Era Restaurant, 10 Massilon Rd., Akron, OH. This is a new location for us this year and offers a wider variety of food. We will start to gather at 6:00 p.m. for drinks and visiting, with dinner at 7:00. This is intended as an adult event, but licensed kids are of course included.

You will order off the regular menu and settle your own check as you would at any other restaurant.

We have been using the New Era for our Field Day meetings for some time now and we keep going back. The food and service are both good.

We Have A Program! As he has done several times in the past Greg Latta, AA8V, will be putting on a great musical program.

Greg will be performing an eclectic mix of music on a variety of instruments,  including the hammered dulcimer, Irish uilleann pipes, guitar, banjo, limberjack, autoharp, and Appalachian dulcimer.  Selections will include contemporary and  traditional pieces and, of course, a variety of Christmas selections.  The audience will have an opportunity to sing along on several of the selections.

This is one more reason to be sure to come this year!
