Gennesaret Home Run for the Homeless

We need 10 to
12 volunteers for this fun and low pressure event put on to raise money
for a soup kitchen for the homeless in Akron and surrounding areas.
This event is held on Thanksgiving Day every year. There is a 4-mile
run and a 1-mile fun run / walk.
Local Olympian Butch Reynolds from Akron, Ohio and Santa Claus from the
North Pole will be at this event. We will meet at Akron General Hospital (Physician Office Building / McDowell Cancer Center) parking lot at the corner of West Exchange Street and Wabash Avenue. Be there between 7:30 AM and 8:00 AM. This event is usually done by 12:00 noon so you can be home in time for your turkey dinner and the football games. http://gennesaret.bizland.com |
